Shot this afternoon on a nice road trip down back roads and into the back country with my 2 sons I remember years ago going to visit the old man who used to own this barn he had lots of horses and was a saddle maker ,sitting and visiting ,the smell of leather in the air ...great memories and as I recall he never missed the spitoon

That is such a great barn, and an awesome story. I love it! I can only imagine how wonderful an experience it must have been to meet the barn's owner. You find the most beautiful places to photograph. Old abandoned crumbling barns and houses can be found all over America, too, but every time I see one on a road trip nobody else in the car ever seems to want to take the time to stop and photograph it. I guess not everybody loves these sorts of places, but I sure do. I can't stress how much I appreciate your photography. Not only do you capture beauty but history as well. After having very little time to spend on deviantart for the past few years, of the 6,000+ deviations I have to catch up on, I'm having the most fun getting caught up on all the art you've posted.
