I drove a cab for many years and when you work the streets your eyes are opened to many social issues ....poverty ,addictions,homelessness and a misunderstanding of the general public regarding these problems ..In a country like Canada ,rich with resources this is a national disgrace .Homelessness is one of the most pressing social issues facing our country today. It is the unchecked social virus growing un-prescribed, damaging our families, communities and cities. It cannot be ignored, side-stepped or spin doctored away.
